Sociology studies over the years have proven that we are, in terms of our: education level, income, success level, knowledge, behavior patterns, health, and world view, the sum total of the 5 people we spend the most time with. It's a subtle thing that on a conscious level we're probably unaware of the influence others have on us. The question is, the 5 people that you spend the most time with, are they building you up or tearing you down to their level? Are they encouraging you or holding you back? Are they happy for your success or jealous? If you can't eliminate those people in your life holding you back and tearing you down (e.g. family), then at the very least, start to minimize the time you spend with them. This is your life, not their's, and you only have this life. Take control of your life and soar. Don't allow anyone to tell you what you can or can't do. The only person truly holding you back is you! #personaldevelopment
